Tom, Tan Tancredo
Tom Tancredo has not been doing a whole lot lately. Other than his strong stance on immigration, he really hasn’t been involved with very much. He did announce though that campaigning about the border isn’t doing anything and we need to find a plan to secure the border. This really doesn’t relate to Tancredo’s news in recent weeks, but I found an article where Tancredo said that if Muslim terrorists attacked the US, we could bomb Islamic holy sites of worship. I thought it was interesting because that seems extremely drastic. Personally, I think if we bomb Islamic holy sites of worship, we will start an entirely new war, one that we do not need.

Just to clarify...Tancredo would tell
Islamic radicals that if they bombed any US city, then a possible RESPONSE
would be to hit them back. There would not be an exceptions for Muslim Holy cities. Tancredo would tell them this a head of time so it is meant as a deterrent.
A hope you would agree that any US city is as valuable and Holy as Mecca.
BTW, Tancredo did his job. Both Democrats defended English in a recent debate and vowed some border enforcement.
The "open borders" thinking is dead.
Ya and that was Tancredo's whole point. there was no way he was going to pull off the rep nomination, but in one of our earlier posts i did a summary of what he accommplished through his campaign, and the spotlight brought to the border and immigration has got to be his crowning achievment. As you point out, not only did the Republicans have to discuss it, but the democrats were pulled into taking stances as well.
