Tom Tancredo has been working to keep himself in the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination, and released a 30 second ad in which a hooded man enters a mall with a backpack which he leaves on a bench, obviously drawing comparsions to a suicide bomber. A ticking timer in the background reinforces this ad, and because of its content, YouTube.com made an age requirement to view it. Tancredo supports his ad as representative of the results of "spineless" politicians, who refuse to attack the issue and instead allow it to dictate their legislation. Tancredo continued his increased media presence with a radio ad for Tancredo was released and played throughout Iowa. in it, Tancredo represents his strong conservative views, commenting on how weak border patrol will allow in Jihadists, and the threat they pose, as well as the threat that "multiculturalists" pose here in America.
As for spending time, Tancredo has done much of that in both Iowa and New Hampshire, trying to catch up with the major Republican candidate names on the ballot who carry a significant advantage with much better funding. Because Tancredo does not have the coffers that others, such as Giuliani, that assist him in getting his name out, he has spent 70 days in Iowa in order to raise his name awareness. He has acknowledged the importance of success in the Iowa caucuses, success which he gauges as a 3rd place, which will "catapult" him. "The minute you do well in the Iowa Caucuses, it's like someone cut the rope." said Tancredo. His campaign strategy is to see success in Iowa and New Hampshire, traditional power states in primaries, in order to get his name out to as many voters as possible, mainly because he doesn't have the resources to get it out himself.
In addition, he answered attacks that labeled him as a single issue candidate by claiming his issue is the safety of the United States and that other candidates are taking his lead, but no one is willing to go as far as he will. His campaign strategy still is to on ride the immigration issue, bucking and nee-hawing, onto the Presidential ticket and into the White House.

Great work on your first submission! Make sure to include a link to the actual ad. What's notable about the ad is that has gotten Tancredo some press attention--which he desperately needs if he's going to accomplish what he set out to do.
